Every portrait comes professionally double mounted as standard to give it that extra luxurous feeling and making it even easier to finish and frame. Made from thick textured off white acid-free conservational mount board to match your new portraits paper to add definition and quality to the finished painting.
Using the drop down boxes available you can chose the size and number of children to suit your portrait. Each portrait is done using gouache paint and coloured pencil on a 300gsm off white smooth watercolour paper. Mounted using a double mount and then completed using high quality framing back board. Packaged in custom Elsa Rose Frere tissue paper with a certificate of authenticty named, signed and dated by the artist for you to keep.
This listing is available in 2 sizes, A4 and A3. The 'A' size refers to the size of the paper that the portrait is painted on and the size in brackets refers to the finished size which is larger including the double mount.

KIDS PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS

Once you have made your purchase I will be in contact to start discussing the details of your portrait and to provide you with a estimate delivery date for your commission.

You will be asked to provide information for your portrait such as: a short discription of the characters you would like in your portrait (as well as photos if possible), the pose in which you would like to be painted, and the clothes that you want to be wearing. This portrait is 100% yours so please feel free to make it your own by adding that favourite teddy or much loved jumper.

Next, using the information and photographs provided by you I will develop a rough sketch of your portrait for you to approve. At this point we can tweak any details you like to make sure it's perfect before I move onto the final artwork.

Once you have approved the rough sketch I will start work on the final painting. There is no more room for editing after this stage as the artwork is original and cannot be redone.

When the painting is complete I will sign, mount and package the artwork to keep it safe, as well as work on any additional processes such a scanning and editing for prints or greeting cards which you can find available in the commission add ons.

Once it is safely in the post to you I will contact you again with your tracking number and any other details you need to make sure you are fully informed at all times.
